The Khor Virap Monastery is the birthplace of Christianity in Armenia.There was imprisoned St. Gregory the Illuminator, the founder of Christianity in Armenia. Also Khor Virap is the closest point to the legendary Mount Ararat, which open a fabulous view to the Bible Mountain.

Noravank Monastery (translated as New Monastery) was built in the 13th century and is one of the oldest and most famous Monasteries of Armenia. It is located on a slope near Areni, surrounded by its famous red hills. In 1996, there was an attempt to add the Monastery complex to the UNESCO World Heritage List. Also, some of the buildings of the complex were built by the famous ancient sculptor Momik. It is surrounded by territory for exciting walks and massive ridges with a fantastic landscape, where you can take amazing photos for memory.
